d. Newsletter

On our website, you have the option of subscribing to a free e-mail newsletter. When registering for the newsletter, the data from the input mask is transmitted to us.

  • Last name
  • E-mail address

In addition, the following data will be collected during registration:

  • IP address of the calling computer
  • Date and time of registration

For the processing of the data, your consent is obtained during the registration process and reference is made to this privacy policy.

No data is passed on to third parties in connection with the data processing for sending newsletters. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.

The collection of the user's e-mail address serves to deliver the e-mail newsletter. The collection of other personal data during the registration process serves to prevent misuse of the services or the e-mail address used.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. The user's email address is therefore stored as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active.

The other personal data collected during the registration process is usually deleted after a period of seven days.

The subscription to the newsletter can be cancelled by the user concerned at any time. For this purpose, a corresponding link can be found in each newsletter. This also enables the revocation of consent to the storage of personal data collected during the registration process.

The legal basis for the processing of data after the user has registered for the newsletter is the user's consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f in conjunction with § 7 para.3 UWG.

The dispatch service provider may use the recipients' data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assigning it to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimise the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties.

The shipping service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO and an order processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 sentence 1 DSGVO.

4. cookies

We use so-called cookies in some areas of our platform. Through such file elements, your computer can be identified as a technical entity during your visit to this platform in order to facilitate your use of our offer - also during repeat visits.

However, you usually have the option of setting your internet browser so that you are informed about the occurrence of cookies, so that you can allow or exclude them, or delete existing cookies.

Please use the help function of your internet browser to obtain information on how to change these settings. We would like to point out that individual functions of our platform may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Cookies do not allow a server to read private data from your computer or the data stored by another server. They do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses.

We base the use of cookies on Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO: the processing is carried out to improve the functioning of our platform. It is therefore necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

5. use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (see https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active ).

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on our behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link(http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" in order to ensure anonymised collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will then be set, which prevents the further collection of your data when visiting this website. This procedure is particularly recommended when accessing our site via mobile devices.

For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html.

We base the use of the aforementioned analysis tool on Art.6 para.1 lit.f DSGVO: the processing is carried out to analyse user behaviour and is therefore necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

6. use of Google Adwords

We use the online advertising programme "Google AdWords" of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA and conversion tracking as part of this.

The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across AdWords customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag.

However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

Users who do not wish to participate in tracking can easily deactivate the Google conversion tracking cookie via their internet browser under user settings. These users will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Learn more about Google's privacy policy.

We base the use of the aforementioned online advertising programme on Art.6 para.1 lit.f DSGVO: the processing is carried out to analyse user behaviour or to play out target group-specific advertising and is therefore necessary to protect our legitimate interests.

7. use of Facebook Connect

On our website, you can log in for registration using the social plugin "Facebook Connect" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc,("Facebook"), within the scope of the so-called Single Sign On technology, if you have a Facebook profile. You can recognise the Facebook login by the blue button with the inscription "Log in with Facebook". To log in, you will be redirected to the Facebook page where you can log in with your user data. This links your Facebook profile and our services. Through the link, we automatically receive your public profile data and your e-mail address from Facebook Inc. depending on your personal settings.

The data transmitted by Facebook will be stored and processed by us for the creation of a user account with the necessary data, if these have been released by you at Facebook for this purpose (title, first name, last name, address data, country, e-mail address, date of birth, profile picture). Conversely, we transmit data (e.g. information on your surfing behaviour) to Facebook Inc. This data is used by Facebook for personalised advertising purposes.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent given through use of the Facebook login in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

The consent given can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the responsible person named at the beginning of this declaration.

Facebook Inc. with headquarters in the USA is certified for the us-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.

8. use of Facebook tracking

This website uses the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). This function is used to present interest-based advertisements ("Facebook Ads") to visitors to this website when they visit the social network Facebook. For this purpose, the Facebook remarketing tag has been implemented on this website. Via this tag, a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established when visiting the website. This transmits to the Facebook server that you have visited this website and Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account.
